On 1st November 2023, he started his Ph.D. course in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), with the topic Next Generation of Connected Vehicles (with PNRR DM 117/2023 - investment 3.3 for research activities at Ferrari S.p.A). His research focuses on how Vulnerable Road Users (VRUs) and vehicles can transmit awareness messages to inform nearby road occupants about their position, dynamics, and pertinent attributes. These awareness messages are categorized into Cooperative Awareness Messages (CAMs), distributed by cars and motorbikes, and VRU Awareness Messages (VAMs), disseminated by VRUs.
